My love and passion for vegan food was initially inspired by health problems. After being diagnosed with Breast cancer at the age of 33. At a time where everything in my life seemed uncertain and my immune system was compromised through treatments I really wanted to nourish my body with goodness, this is when I created my food blog Nourish flourish Me.
Through doing so cooking became my therapy through cancer not just physically but also mentally, learning new ways to cook took me to a happy place and it became my mindful cooking time. Now in remission I have continued my blog using cooking as my time out and sharing my simple nourishing plant based recipes in hope that others too can find a love and calm in cooking like I did.
