Air Fryer Pitta Pizza

Pizza is one of my favourite comfort foods, so creating a simple home-made version was a must. This is now one of my favouite go-to lunches while working from home. The toppings can also be switched up to create different flavours, and individual pizzas for children.

Ingredients

  • 4 gluten free pitta breads
  • 4 tbsp (60ml) gluten free bbq sauce
  • 80g grated cheddar cheese
  • 80g diced mozzarella
  • 60g diced cooked chicken
  • 40g sliced mini pepperoni
  • 40g diced red pepper
  • Pinch chilli flakes

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

Method

  • Step 1

    Place the air fryer basket in your Foodi

  • Step 2

    Spread the bbq sauce over each pitta bread

  • Step 3

    Sprinkle on the cheddar and mozzarella

  • Step 4

    Top each pitta with the chicken, pepperoni, red pepper and chilli flakes

  • Step 5

    Cook the pittas one at a time in your Foodi on 180oc for 7 minutes

  • Step 6

    Repeat until all the pizzas are cooked

  • Step 7

    Serve with a side salad
