Chicken Skewers

An easy and delicious Chicken Skewer recipe. Made with a tasty yoghurt marinade.

  • 2lb Chicken Breast, cut into chunks

The marinade

  • 3 tbsp Plain or Greek Yoghurt
  • 3-4` Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 2 inch Ginger, crushed
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

Method

  • Step 1

    Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Marinade Chicken in all the ingredients listed under Marinade.

  • Step 3

    Place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Insert Grill Plate and close lid. Select Grill, set to Max and set time to 6 minutes. Select start. Thread chicken onto skewers.

  • Step 5

    When the grill is ready, cook the skewers for 3 minutes, then turn and cook for a further 3 – 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
