Pil Pil

A fast and simple recipe made with fresh prawns, served with a sizzling garlic and chilli oil and a squeeze of lemon.

This dish contains the following allergens: Shellfish


  • 20 large King Prawns cleaned, head removed
  • 100ml olive oil
  • 6-8 cloves Garlic chopped finely
  • Large pinch chilli flakes
  • sweet paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, juice only

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!


  • Step 1

    Insert air fryer basket into unit and close lid. 

  • Step 2

    Select Air Fry at 180 C.

  • Step 3

    Set time for 5 minutes. 

  • Step 4

    Select start to begin preheating. 

  • Step 5

    Once it beeps, add the prawns and cook for 4 – 5 minutes, turning once. 

  • Step 6

    Add olive oil into a pan over medium/high heat. 

  • Step 7

    When the oil is hot, add the garlic and chilli flakes. 

  • Step 8

    Cook for 2 – 3 minutes before adding in the prawns, a sprinkle of sweet paprika powder, salt and pepper. Stir together and remove from the heat immediately. 

  • Step 9

    Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
